Okay i have a Jackson guitar. i want to put it in drop C. what strings should i use for drop c?

the person i bought it from had it in drop D. and also what drop c is best for heavy metal? i know there are a couple of variations of drop C.

there is drop C and C standard. drop C is putting it in drop D and then tuning the whole guitar down a tone. C standard is tuning the guitar down two whole tones.


i tune to A standard, and use 14-70 guage strings.


for C i would choose between 52-60 guage strings
